Is mexican home food and it was really delicious. The hosts where very attentive and polite. We will be going again.

Not afraid to add some heat to their green sauce! Good chips.

The food is good, the ac is nonexistent on a 100 deg day. The proprietor asked a younger employee to please take care of the dumb Americans. If you are Hispanic, I hope you are treated better.

I eat at this restaurant more than any other in the area and it's not even close to my house. After trying a few things and liking them I started trying everything on the menu, including the super hot, large, black pig bowl full of goodness and the Camarones A La Diabla (my personal favorite). Everything is good. If I don't have a lot of money, I just stop in for a few of the super cheap ($1?) tacos. The chorrizo ones are so good. The staff is really friendly and I enjoy talking with them.I know my last name is Spanish, but I'm 100% Irish. I wanted to point that out because another review says they make fun of and dislike Americans and nothing could be farther from the truth. If you want a vegetarian selection, don't go to a Mexican restaurant. I've been to Mexico and this is the food I ate. If you don't think this food is authentic Mexican, you must be a fan of Taco Bell.

A nice place to get Mexican food

Authentic Mexican pozole was delicious! We also had flautas, guacamole, their complimentary chips and salsa. Fair prices. Nice family run business.Parking is behind the building.

Best Mexican food in Scranton. Period. Completely authentic tacos, burritos, empenadas, tortas, fajitas and more. And... really nice people. Can't recommend Garibaldi's enough.

I don't know why everyone has been praising it so much. I have had better Mexican food. The side order of guacamole is a must though. Other than that it is quite average with barely any vegetarian options.

No frills...great authentic food, modest prices. If you like off the usual grid types of places like I do, you'll appreciate Garibaldi's. I highly recommend a glass of mango juice. Freeeesssshly made and delicious!

Be careful! You may drive by the small jewel in west side. The food is authentic and fresh.

Nothing to look at from the exterior, but inside there's delicious authentic Mexican dishes. Burritos are the size of your head and will feed you for two meals. Guacamole is out of this world. Take-out is done in 10 minutes or less.

This is authentic Mexican at it's best. The guac is fresh, the burritos are awesome and I recommend this place to friends multiple times. The service has been excellent every time I've come in, very attentive yet not annoying. The tortilla chips and salsa are addicting. Definitely a must-visit if you're a fan of Mexican cuisine.

The food is authentic. I had the steak quesadilla and it was the best ever. The owners are friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend a visit.

Greasy spoon, hole in the wall place with decent food and prices. Tortillas were good and salsa was excellent. Rice had an odd oil flavor. Chilli rellano was ok.

Food is great! Can't beat the prices. The chorizo tacos are to dye for. I recommend the green sauce, you get to choose spicy or mild. If you are looking for a place that is little and amazing you must go. If you want more of a fancy restaurant that is your choice. The chips are amazing with the sauce. Also they don't say anything negative like. We watched who wants to be a millionaire with the waiter. All around top 5 restaurant in Lackawanna county. Also it is number one mexiiMe restaurant in Scranton.

Tryed door dash delivery. Had tacos..cold and meat was really dry inside.. Tamales were large but had a tiny little bit of filling inside..mostly corn meal..burrito was large and the best part of this meal...only 2 stars for me.

Mexican food where is the Mexican food. This was not authentic Mexican food. Who has fajitas with jalapenos. Where was the refried beans. I had enchiladas ha! That was not enchiladas. The guacamole was tasteless. Waste of my money. If you want anything resembling Mexican food. This is truly not the place.

THE BEST MEXICAN in NEPA. Great service, perfect prices. I've never had a bad meal and I always come home with something for the next day. I've enjoyed meals at many other mexican restaurants in NEPA but keep coming back to my favorite, Garibaldis!
